Why it matters

## Most of your visitors arrive on a phone

A site that looks fine on your computer can break on a 390-pixel screen. These are the issues we see most often:

### Tiny text and buttons

If people have to zoom to read or tap a button, they leave. On a phone, buttons need room for a finger.

### Content wider than the screen

Tables, images or menus wider than the phone cause sideways scrolling and make the site feel neglected.

### The important part ends up below

On desktop the contact button is visible right away; on a phone it can sit three screens down. Check what people see first.

FAQ

## About the responsive test

What is a responsive website?

It’s a site that adapts its layout to the screen size: it rearranges columns, resizes text and images and changes the menu so it reads and works well on phones, tablets and desktops without zooming.

Why does my site show up blank or with a notice?

Some sites send a security instruction (X-Frame-Options or Content-Security-Policy) that prevents them from being shown inside another page. It’s a normal anti-fraud protection. In that case you can open the site in a window sized like each device with the buttons below.

Is this the same as viewing the site on a real phone?

It shows the site at the real width of each screen, which is what decides how the layout adapts. A real phone can differ in details such as the browser bar, system fonts or connection speed.

Do you store anything about my site?

No. We only check whether the site allows being shown inside another page; your own browser loads the content and nothing is stored anywhere.

## Your site doesn’t look right on mobile?

We’ll review it with you and tell you what to fix first. You can also check how visible it is on Google and ChatGPT with the free audit.
